1988 GRAND BANKS 36' for Sale in Miami, Florida
This is a 1988 Grand Banks Classic trawler with Twin Cummins, that has just returned from the yard with new fuel tanks, new water heater, new shaft seals and more. The engine room is clean, and the teak has new varnish. Bottom paint by Bradford Marine, Fort Lauderdale. Clean inside and out.
1988 was the first year of the increased beam and length for the GB36. She has three air conditioner units. The salon AC was replaced in 2024, and the master stateroom AC was replaced in 2023.
Forward are the V-berths with a VacuFlush head to starboard, and hanging locker to port, with drawers below the berths.
Aft of the V-berths is the salon with the lower helmsman station and side door to starboard. To port is the galley with stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator, and storage for provisions and dishes. Aft of the helm is a dry bar, and L-shaped settee with teak drop-leaf dining table. Across from the dining table is the port side door.
The master stateroom is aft of the salon and has a double berth to starboard and a single to port. The stateroom includes private head with VacuFlush toilet, separate shower stall and sink. On the port side is a large hanging locker and storage locker. Drawers are located below each berth.
The boat has been regularly serviced and hauled. A diver cleans the bottom monthly and replaces zincs as needed. The boat is stored behind the owner’s house in Southeast Florida.
Newer electronics at lower helm include Fusion stereo, Standard Horizon VHF radio, Garman GPSMap 742xs Clear Vu and Chirp Sonar; Garman autopilot display; Xantrex battery monitor, Garman depth sounder, Garman 1040 xs, and Garman GMS 10 Network port expander. At fly bridge helm newer electronics include Garman 1040xs, Garman autopilot display, Standard Horizon VHF radio, and Garmin depth finder. The boat is equipped with NMEA 2000 and AIS.
