1995 OYSTER 55' for Sale in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland

PRELIMINARY LISTING – More photos coming soon

The Oyster 55 is one of the most iconic and timeless designs in yachting history, aimed at providing a safe, fast, ergonomic, and comfortable platform for long range shorthanded cruising. Featuring a raised deck saloon, center cockpit, cutter rig, sugar scoop transom, fully-skegged rudder, and 3 cabin/1 workshop layout with a large owner’s suite aft, this design philosophy has become nearly ubiquitous, with examples from dozens of brands and boatbuilders from every corner of the world and throughout a wide size category from 46-72 ft LOA. It can be argued that Oyster did it first and did it best, and many would say that they still do. Millions of blue water miles have been enjoyed by owners in this very model and in the subsequent versions of it.

About Oaksmith Yachts

We know what it feels like to need to know what's past that next hill. To stare across an ocean and want to see what's out there. To wonder what's in that bay or on that island past that next point. To only have a day or a week to explore what should take months. We know what it's like to not be able to afford to let the weather stop you. We know what it feels like and we have a solution.
