The Wellcraft 32 will appeal to anglers who like to get to their favorite fishing grounds in a hurry. With her wide beam and deep cockpit, the 32 is a roomy and stable fishing platform, and her high-performance stepped hull is quick to accelerate and fast across the water. The Scarab's deck layout is similar to most boats of her type. A large-capacity live well, and a bait-prep station with sink and cutting board are built into the transom, and each of the four insulated fish boxes-two aft and one on either side of the console-are fitted with pump-outs. A standup head compartment with sink, handheld shower, marine toilet (with 10-gallon holding tank), and two opening ports is concealed within the console. There's plenty of room for electronics at the helm, where a flip-up bolster seat was standard. Coaming pads, a recessed toe rail in the bow, and pop-up cleats will be appreciated by experienced anglers.
