The Najad 405 succeeded the much-loved Najad 400. With a taller rig and balanced spade rudder, it led to enhanced performance and sportier characteristics. Still in her original ownership, BRINDABELLA is a great example of the very popular Najad 405. From 2009, she was commissioned by an experienced owner with a comprehensive specification, which included a factory-fitted generator and watermaker. A read-through of her particulars evidences the fact that she has enjoyed good ongoing care and maintenance. The brief was to create a yacht capable of truly independent offshore and bluewater cruising in both safety and comfort. The owner took delivery at Najad, having cruised her from Sweden to the UK and regularly to the west coast of France, then on to the Mediterranean, covering France, Portugal, Spain, and Italy.
