Senility is a 22' Friendship Sloop originally built by Chuck Collins of Bass River Boat Works in Massachusetts in 1976 from the Passamaquoddy mold. From 2017-2019 her current owner totally refurbished her, including enlarging her cockpit. She is a fiberglass hull with a fiberglass deck assembly with molded-in non-skid, and new varnished spruce spars with an extensively reconditioned diesel engine. Her cabin houses a portable head with storage compartments. Her classic gaff rig, clipper bow, and sheer are not only graceful but provide stability for sailing with family and friends or solo.
