"FORTITUDE" is a beautiful American made trideck motor yacht with an impressive 398 gross tons of volume affording her five staterooms (owner on deck), a gym, expensive flybridge and an impressive crew quarters.  Her MTU engines were overhauled in 2018 and she received a complete paint job in 2016 that is in excellent shape.  All of the spaces found aboard from guest to crew areas and engine room to technical spaces are huge and easily accessible. Upgrades & Service Work List - Fall/Winter of 2023

  • Replaced bow thruster system entirely 
  • Rebuilt Naiad stabilizers 
  • Installed new carpet in all the lower deck guest cabins.
  • Installed additional stainless-steel countertop, cabinetry, and 2nd dishwasher in galley.
  • Service work and rebuild hydraulic ram on passerelle. (HIGH SEAS)

  • Removed rudders, serviced rudder shafts, hydraulic ram, and replaced bearings. All bearing clearances recorded for RINA. (HIGH SEAS)
  • Serviced anchor windlasses on bow. (HIGH SEAS)
  • Removed propellors, cleaned, dynamic spun, documented, and dye checked for cracks for RINA. (HIGH SEAS)
  • Removed propellor shafts, and engine couplings. Shafts sent to shop for cleaning, inspections, dye tested for cracks (RINA), and balanced. All new bearings installed for both shafts. New fittings in port strut, and shaft alignment laser aligned. (HIGH SEAS)
  • New shaft seals on rudders and propellor shafts. Extra seal installed for “in water” service capability on propellor shafts. (HIGH SEAS)
  • New plumbing installed for propellor shaft seals cooling lines.
  • New Micron paint on hull, 2 coats throughout and 3 coats on belly band. New prop speed on all running gear.
  • New zincs installed. 
  • RINA “Out of water hull survey”.
  • Repainted boot stripe and check stripe. 
  • Replaced sea chest valves.
  • (3) Coats of varnish on teak cap rails. 
    Stainless steel Plimbsoll marks fabricated and installed.
  • Complete hull polished with a 3-step wax and sealant by Freedom Yachts from check stripe to teak cap rail. 
  • Painted life raft cradles and Sea Doo cradles. 
  • Sea Doo’s’ received their 100-hour service and cosmetic repairs.
  • Life rafts annual inspection.
  • Fire safety systems annual inspections & certification. All hydrostatic releases replaced.
  • Service work on A/C system chiller plant. Installed new fan unit in Twin cabin air handler. Two new makeup air handlers installed.
  • A new coolant pump installed on starboard main engine. And, a new fuel line was installed. 
  • New exhaust blanket & generator flex mounts. 
  • Replaced emergency fuel shutoff valve on fuel manifold. 
  • Inspected VSAT system bearings, belt and gears for wear and operation. Network Innovations.
  • Upholstery on bridge settee and overhead panels. 
  • New teak decking installed on swim step.
  • Areas painted include port bridge door track area, bosun locker door and framing, and bow flare area. 
  • Annual pest control service completed by Nozzle Nolen.
  • Medical kits annual restock and certification completed.
  • Complete ventilation system/AC system scheduled for cleaning and sterilization
